Tsui Hark has been the center of the rebirth of the Hong Kong cinema during the last twenty years. He has tried everything, testing, renovating genres... He is, more than any other, the spirit of the modern Hong Kong cinema. And if some people speak about a golden age for the last years, it is certainly thanks to him. However, he is, still today, the less known an the less acknowledged Hong Kong directors.
Too crazy, too Chinese, Tsui Hark is however a Sifu of cinema, a master in his own way, an iconoclast.
